Manager of Customer Development (SaaS): Leading a high-performing team of Customer Development Specialists to drive lead generation and revenue recovery with an accent on pipeline strategy, data-driven performance management, and team coaching. Focus on optimizing outreach processes, scaling lead qualification workflows, and fostering a culture of accountability within a fast-moving B2B environment.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 3-4 days/week in-office required).

Salary: CAD$110,000 – CAD$160,000

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Customer Development Specialists to drive consistent pipeline creation.
  • Develop and execute outbound and inbound lead generation strategies aligned with revenue goals.
  • Monitor activity levels, conversion rates, and productivity metrics to implement data-driven improvements.
  • Oversee lead follow-up, qualification, and handoff processes to ensure high-quality opportunities.
  • Refine outreach cadences, messaging, and playbooks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to align on targeting and pipeline quality.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Toronto, ON with ability to work in-office 3-4 days/week.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or software sales/development.
  • 2+ years of leadership and management experience, preferably leading BDR/SDR teams.
  • Proven success in developing talent and driving performance through coaching.
  • Strong understanding of sales development workflows and go-to-market processes.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience in E-commerce or supply chain industries.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical mindset for pipeline reporting and productivity metrics.
