What you will do

• Support the Office of the General Counsel in daily legal and regulatory operations.
• Advise on and negotiate (re)insurance agreements, including Client and Carrier TOBAs.
• Review and negotiate commercial contracts such as NDAs, SaaS licenses, MSAs, and property leases.
• Partner with Compliance to maintain robust regulatory oversight across the business.
• Provide corporate legal support for intra-group matters and company secretariat activities.
• Assist on multi-jurisdictional legal matters within a global broking context.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK).
• Experience in private practice or in-house within the (re)insurance or insurance broking sector.
• Strong background in general commercial and contract law.
• Proven ability to handle multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
• Experience collaborating effectively with legal, compliance, and business teams.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to identify and resolve legal risks.

Nice to have

• Insurance law knowledge, specifically regarding TCF and FCA handbook.
• Experience with London Market policy wording drafting.
• Background in intercompany and corporate legal support.
