What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor to the People function and leadership teams on complex employment matters, including contracts, policies, and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with evolving employment legislation and workplace regulations across all jurisdictions where hirify.global operates.
• Lead the handling of employment tribunal claims and negotiate settlements, coordinating with external counsel.
• Draft and review employment contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies to anticipate business needs.
• Identify potential legal risks in workforce decisions and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Support the Reward team in managing the employee equity plan and assist with supplier and client contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer in the UK or another Common Law Jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) with a strong focus on employment law.
• Experience working in a top-tier law firm or an in-house legal department.
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to manage complex projects under demanding deadlines.
• Comfortable handling both domestic and international employment law matters.
• Must be based in or able to work in Southampton on a hybrid basis.

• Prior experience providing legal advice in-house.
• Experience with international employment advisory.
