TL;DR

Senior Compliance Executive (Legal): Leading and executing thematic and continuous compliance monitoring reviews across the EMEA region with an accent on regulatory alignment and risk-based monitoring. Focus on managing the end-to-end review lifecycle, performing trade surveillance, and translating findings into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.

Location: Henley-on-Thames, UK. Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

  • Lead thematic and continuous monitoring reviews across EMEA, including international offices and third-party providers.
  • Manage the full review lifecycle: planning, fieldwork, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and action tracking.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and trade surveillance activities in coordination with global centers of excellence.
  • Provide compliance input for strategic projects and change initiatives.
  • Generate management reporting for CCOs and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Advisory teams to turn findings into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in compliance monitoring, audit, or regulatory roles within asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, CBI, CSSF, BaFin, AMF).
  • Ability to lead complex, cross-regional reviews with confidence and credibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Henley-on-Thames to satisfy the four-day weekly office requirement.

  • Additional French or German language skills.
