Compliance Apprentice

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with two remote days per week

What you will do

• Provide compliance advice, guidance, and support to assigned business areas.
• Support the implementation of new regulations and delivery of the Annual Compliance Plan.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on regulatory codes, laws, and requirements affecting reinsurance compliance.
• Assist with compliance monitoring reviews, reports, and maintenance of compliance registers.
• Prepare compliance reporting for senior management, boards, and committees.
• Test and review key controls in cooperation with risk management and internal audit teams.

Requirements

• Three A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, achieved or expected, such as BTEC, T Level, or Advanced Apprenticeship.
• Strong problem-solving and numeracy skills.
• Motivation to learn and develop in compliance and risk management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior insurance experience is not required, but is preferred.
