What you will do

• Prepare and deliver mortgage loan disclosures, including Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, and handle revised disclosures for changes in circumstances.
• Coordinate with settlement agents to balance mortgage loan transactions and prepare closing document packages.
• Review loans prior to closing to ensure accuracy of the final Closing Disclosure and all supporting documents.
• Prepare funding and booking documents for closed loans and manage the shipment of original documents to investors.
• Implement and maintain a trailing document tracking system to comply with investor requirements.
• Monitor homeowner’s insurance, property taxes, and flood insurance for the mortgage loan portfolio.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience in mortgage lending or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending procedures and loan programs (FNMA, FHA, VA, FHFA, FHLMC, and GNMA).
• Knowledge of mortgage regulatory compliance, including RESPA, TIL, HMDA, HOEPA, and Fair Lending.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work onsite in Durango, CO.
