What you will do

• Install and modify new and existing mechanical electrical equipment based on technical instructions.
• Perform equipment start-ups, repairs, and comprehensive overhauls.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine correct installation and repair procedures.
• Diagnose malfunctions using specialized test equipment and software.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to detect and prevent system failures.
• Replace worn electrical components and adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and its practical application.
• Proficiency in safety procedures for working with live circuits.
• Ability to troubleshoot and install control circuits.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme cold, humid, or noisy environments.
• Journeyman level electrical experience (preferred).
• Experience in food processing maintenance (preferred).
