Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, USA; on-site industrial plant work with rotating shifts

Salary: $33.22–$44.18 per hour

What you will do

• Complete planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Investigate machinery failures and line stoppages using root-cause analysis in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Repair, install, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and replace industrial production and processing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions by observing and evaluating machinery operation.
• Prioritize maintenance work, manage work orders and spare parts, and maintain required documentation in the computerized maintenance system.
• Review maintenance reports and inspect equipment for operational and safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or five years of equivalent experience.
• Two to four years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including scheduled night shifts for one month per year.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
