Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift

Location: Columbus, OH; onsite position. Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $24.09–$40.48 per hour plus a $3.50 shift differential.

What you will do

• Repair, install, start up, troubleshoot, and maintain existing and new plant and facility equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors, stamping presses, production support equipment, and other plant infrastructure.
• Integrate new equipment and communicate technical issues to maintenance, facilities, and operations management.
• Perform plant maintenance and manage day-to-day work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor technicians and share maintenance best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related maintenance technician experience and/or training.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, including the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Electrical installation skills, including sizing wires, disconnects, and conduit, plus the ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to solve practical problems, interpret written and oral instructions, and prepare routine reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, operate large equipment, and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH, on the Friday–Sunday weekend shift.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
