Maintenance Tech (Manufacturing)

Location: York, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite at the manufacturing facility. Schedule: Monday–Tuesday, 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 5:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Base pay: $37.43 per hour, plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facility systems, production equipment, packaging machinery, and high-speed production lines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC control systems.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance, work orders, machine setup, lubrication, and changeovers through the CMMS system.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Complete facilities maintenance for systems including industrial air compressors, water towers, and boilers.
• Support Lean, TPM, kaizen, training, quality, and food safety activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC controls, shop math, and troubleshooting.
• Computer skills and previous experience with SAP or CMMS.
• Ability to complete and maintain all required company training and certifications.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from a mechanical vocational school.
• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
