Senior Retail Development Manager (SaaS): Driving new sales opportunities within the retail supply chain sector with an accent on prospecting, territory planning, and executive-level engagement. Focus on aligning complex supply chain solutions with prospect business needs and collaborating with Account Executives to secure new partnerships.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Salary: $65,000 base + Commission

What you will do
- Develop and execute territory plans to identify and prioritize high-value accounts.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels to secure introductory meetings.
- Partner with Account Executives to lead discovery calls and understand prospect supply chain challenges.
- Align business pain points with company solutions to drive interest and partnership exploration.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline velocity, insights, and progress in Salesforce.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from the Minneapolis office.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in commission-based sales.
- Proven experience in sales hunting, account management, or sales consulting.
- Proficiency with AI tools, Microsoft Office, and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and content for executive audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and improvise when responding to obstacles.
Nice to have
- Experience selling solutions into Retail, Distribution, or Grocery sectors.
- Direct background in Retail Operations or Supply Chain management.
