TL;DR

Regional Senior HR Manager (Retail): Driving a people-first, high-performance culture across a multi-site retail region with an accent on employee relations, talent development, and organizational strategy. Focus on coaching field leaders, mitigating risk, and executing data-driven HR initiatives to support business objectives.

Location: Must be based in California with up to 25% travel to retail stores and 4x annual travel to headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

Compensation: $140,000–$170,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Regional and District Leaders on performance management, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
  • Lead complex employee relations investigations, ensuring compliance with company policy and employment law.
  • Execute regional talent strategies to build a diverse leadership pipeline and support store-level management development.
  • Analyze people metrics and engagement data to identify trends and implement long-term solutions.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to deliver leadership programs that improve retention and readiness.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives through education and inclusive organizational practices.

Requirements

  • Must be based in California.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with a significant focus on employee relations.
  • Proven experience supporting multi-site retail or field-based organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, ER investigations, and performance management.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior retail management or operations leadership experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale change or transformation initiatives.
