What you will do

• Manage end-to-end settlement processes for private lending transactions.
• Coordinate with solicitors, brokers, borrowers, valuers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely settlements.
• Prepare and review settlement documentation and monitor outstanding conditions precedent.
• Liaise with external legal representatives regarding loan documents, securities and discharges.
• Conduct pre-settlement compliance and documentation verification.
• Maintain accurate loan records and assist with post-settlement administration and reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in settlements, loan administration, mortgage operations, banking, or private lending.
• Strong understanding of lending and settlement processes within the Australian market.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial property-backed lending is highly regarded.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and lending/CRM platforms.
• Availability to work VIC time (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
