Salary: $187,000 - $230,000 (NC) / $200,000 - $245,000 (NY)

What you will do

• Lead organizational strategy and execution for the data and AI platform, establishing prioritization frameworks and delivery accountability.
• Build and ship AI-ready infrastructure, including governed connectors, a skills library, and evaluation infrastructure.
• Own hirify.global's internal AI platform, creating a workspace where employees can contribute and use AI skills and workflows.
• Manage staffing and roadmap alignment across data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, and software engineering.
• Partner with Applied AI, IT, and GTM Operations to build technical foundations ahead of business requirements.
• Translate technical decisions into business impact and measurable outcomes for leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in Raleigh, NC to support the hybrid in-office model.
• 8+ years in data or engineering roles with demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Strong command of data architecture, BI platforms, and modern data stacks.
• Experience building internal platforms with an emphasis on governance and operational trust.
• Ability to lead across blended disciplines: data, analytics, and software engineering.
• Track record of owning company-critical metrics and semantic layers.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with dbt, Fivetran, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation tools like LangSmith or Gemini ADK.
• Experience with BI platforms featuring a semantic layer (e.g., Omni).
• Prior use of Claude Enterprise in an enterprise context.
