What you will do

• Manage and coach a team of 5-7 engineers to increase their impact and professional growth.
• Drive the technical direction, engineering standards, and architecture of the core Datastore platform.
• Partner with quality and regulatory stakeholders to ensure development processes meet design control requirements.
• Own project management, including scope definition, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure the development roadmap is outcome-oriented and aligned with company strategic initiatives.
• Cultivate a collaborative environment that balances high-quality engineering with development velocity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 4+ years of experience directly managing mid-sized software engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience leading teams under formal design controls such as IEC 62304.
• Proven ability to balance technical debt, bandwidth limitations, and project velocity.
• Strong communication skills with a bias towards simplicity and structured decision-making.
• Experience managing project lifecycles, from scoping to delivery.
