What you will do
- Build and evolve mission-critical tools and systems for fleet orchestration.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop processes as business needs evolve.
- Solve complex real-world problems including fleet optimization, workshop management, and efficient mileage gathering.
- Develop systems for field escalation handling and business-critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of backend or infrastructure experience.
- Proficiency in backend coding languages: C++, Python, and Java.
- Must be able to work onsite in Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.
Nice to have
- Experience with C++ or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Google infrastructure (e.g., Flume, Borg, Protocol Buffers, OnePlatform).
- Experience with operations tooling, developer productivity tools, or SRE/on-call.
- Passion for working in cross-functional environments with non-technical stakeholders.
