What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale evaluation pipelines for AV software validation.
• Develop core simulation evaluation dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights and monitor simulation trust drift.
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Systems, and Safety teams to define and drive consensus on simulation validation requirements.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring other engineers on software architecture and simulation testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and analytics platforms to enhance productivity and drive innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing complex evaluation, simulation, or test frameworks.
• Proficiency in production Python, including unit testing and reliability best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical design across multiple teams in a remote or distributed environment.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be located in or able to work from Sunnyvale, California.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating robotics systems or autonomous vehicles and working with simulation frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL, time-series data analysis, and dashboarding tools like Looker or Streamlit.
• Strong data-driven curiosity to systematically root-cause discrepancies.
