Salary: $216,000 – $240,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Partner with the Head of Research Recruiting and leadership to define priority targets and bespoke engagement strategies.
• Develop deep market intelligence across frontier AI, research, and engineering ecosystems.
• Proactively map and cultivate high-profile talent before formal hiring processes begin.
• Manage tailored candidate journeys involving confidential outreach and complex closing strategies.
• Coordinate with executive search firms and internal networks to move priority searches forward.
• Act as a trusted advisor on candidate positioning, risk, and compensation for high-impact hires.

Requirements

• Significant experience recruiting for highly technical, senior, or executive talent.
• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive candidate conversations and confidential searches.
• Proven instinct for talent intelligence and gathering market context to turn into action.
• Track record of building relationships with passive, hard-to-reach candidates.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco.
