TL;DR

Head of Talent (AI): Building and leading a centralized recruiting function for an AI Time platform to scale technical and non-technical teams with an accent on talent density and high-precision execution. Focus on establishing high-signal hiring processes, sharpening candidate bars, and aligning staffing models with business strategy.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco or New York), 3+ days/week in-person. Must be based in SF or NY; no relocation assistance or visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: $200,000 – $275,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for Engineering, Product, GTM, and G&A roles.
• Centralize and elevate recruiting capabilities, including processes, tools, systems, and employment branding.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify needs, sharpen signals, and accelerate decision-making.
• Develop and maintain a predictable hiring rhythm (15–20 hires per quarter) while maintaining a high talent bar.
• Translate business strategy into hiring plans, staffing models, and organizational design.
• Define and evolve the recruiting tech stack and reporting systems using an MVP mindset.

Requirements

• Experience as a Head of Talent, Director of Recruiting, or VP of Talent within a high-growth, founder-led startup.
• Full-cycle recruiting mastery across both technical and non-technical roles.
• Proven track record of high-volume hiring without compromising quality.
• Ability to influence leadership teams and push back using data and conviction.
• Must be located in San Francisco or New York and able to work in-office 3+ days per week.
• No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance available.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-urgency environments with high rejection/calibration rates.
• Experience managing RPO or external contractors.
• Experience operating with limited internal resources.
