What you will do

• Provide telephone triage, medication advice, and health information using Clinical Decision Support Software.
• Offer clinical guidance to operational staff and proactively promote alternative care pathways.
• Perform skilled assessments of patients presenting clinical needs through telephone consultations.
• Maintain accurate records of service user inquiries and conduct clinical follow-ups.
• Act as a clinical resource for internal and external non-medical staff.
• Undertake audits of the Clinical Desk and produce feedback reports.

Requirements

• Active CPNS registration as an Advance Care Paramedic (ACP).
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience, with at least 3 years in a frontline patient care role in a high-volume area.
• Experience in a high-volume ground ambulance position or emergency department.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and ability to type 30 wpm.
• Willingness to complete an AEMD course and other required certifications.
• Proven track record of good clinical and attendance records.

Nice to have

• Certification or instructor status in ACLS, ATLS, PTLS, or PALS.
• Completion of a leadership course or previous leadership roles within the organization.
• Previous experience with tele-triage.
