What you will do

  • Answer incoming calls at the Health and Safety Call Center regarding human and animal health concerns.
  • Document adverse events and product information accurately within the safety database.
  • Provide appropriate first-aid information based on client specifications.
  • Determine when calls require escalation to toxicologists or other specialized staff.
  • Monitor for trends involving new products or emerging safety issues.
  • Maintain high-quality customer service standards for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Current certification as an EMT, Paramedic, Veterinary Technician, or equivalent, or currently pursuing an advanced medical degree.
  • Professional telephone etiquette with strong active listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex medical information for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and keyboarding.
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule, primarily second shift, including weekends and holidays.
