Sr. Project Manager (Digital Health)

TL;DR

Sr. Project Manager (Digital Health): Managing the design and commercialization of key medical products with an accent on cross-functional collaboration between engineering, marketing, and RA/QA. Focus on driving timely project launches, budgeting resources, and implementing Design Control procedures in an FDA-regulated environment.

Location: Hybrid (Del Mar, CA) — 1-2 days per week in office. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $95,000 - $113,000

What you will do

• Lead multi-functional core teams from concept through commercialization following standard product development processes.
• Plan and direct software/systems projects, managing schedules, budgets, resources, and cost analysis.
• Facilitate corporate Phase Review Discipline meetings and track progress with governance meetings.
• Drive process improvement initiatives related to product development, design controls, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with Privacy/HIPAA and other legal and regulatory requirements.
• Present regular project status updates to various organizational levels, including the executive management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent training/experience.
• At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably in the medical device or FDA-regulated industry.
• Experience managing projects from inception to post-market using phase-gate or agile methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
• Proficiency in Project Management tools and knowledge of agile/scrum development methodologies.

Nice to have

• PMP, Scrum/SAFe, or CSM certification.
• Experience with web applications, Cloud software, DevOps, CI/CD, or SaaS.
• Experience managing projects specifically focused on solutions for people with diabetes.
