What you will do

• Lead the Americas engineering presence as a hybrid between strategic management and a hands-on individual contributor.
• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and the delivery cadence for the Americas pod to ensure predictable releases.
• Design and operationalize a follow-the-sun engineering model in collaboration with the EMEA team to maintain continuous development and QA coverage.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineering talent to strategically grow the Americas engineering hub.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as a force multiplier for the team.
• Maintain technical quality and architectural standards for the nova platform across React, TypeScript, Node.js, Snowflake, and AWS.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading geographically distributed and remote teams.
• Proven track record of strategically growing engineering teams and recruiting in the Americas market.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Outstanding English communication skills (C1+) for effective cross-timezone and cross-cultural collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and LLM tooling.
• Prior experience in marketing technology, analytics, or SaaS reporting products.
