What you will do

• Own outcomes across multiple AI/ML product teams: execution, quality, reliability, and customer impact
• Shape technical direction for AI/ML systems, including architecture and tooling decisions
• Improve team operations via planning, delivery processes, and AI tool usage
• Drive alignment with Product, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams
• Lead and develop Engineering Managers and senior ICs
• Design team structure, hiring plans, and onboarding as the organization scales
• Manage performance with clear goals, feedback, and growth paths

Requirements

• North America-based or remote-friendly across North America
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams in B2B SaaS, ideally Director or VP level
• Strong background in AI/ML-driven products leveraging LLMs, VLMs, or agent-based systems
• Exposure to ML infrastructure (evaluation, observability, data pipelines)
• Track record delivering complex, ambiguous product initiatives
• Experience scaling teams and developing managers
• Worked closely with product leadership to shape roadmaps

Nice to have

• Experience in mechanical engineering domain (Manufacturing, CAD, Simulations)
