What you will do

• Lead strategic communications planning for internal and external audiences, aligning with business objectives.
• Advise senior leaders on communication strategies, reputation management, and proactive media engagement.
• Serve as the primary media contact for the region, managing inquiries and outreach.
• Develop compelling content for social media, press releases, speaking notes, and internal platforms.
• Monitor emerging issues and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on brand and social media initiatives.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in strategic communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven expertise in media relations and issues management.
• Experience advising senior executives on sensitive and confidential matters.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Saskatoon, SK.
