TL;DR

Corporate Affairs Coordinator (PR/Communications): Supporting the execution of corporate affairs strategy with an accent on media relations, public policy advocacy, and community management. Focus on coordinating day-to-day activities, creating multimedia content, and building data-driven dashboards to measure the impact of communication initiatives.

Location: Must have current work authorization for Canada. The role follows a hybrid schedule with office locations in Toronto and Mississauga.

Salary: $73,000 – $90,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Identify and pitch traditional and digital media opportunities to tell the company story.
  • Administer media and external stakeholder partnerships from due diligence to implementation.
  • Support daily webcast moderation and community inbox monitoring.
  • Create and manage a framework for data collection and reporting on corporate affairs activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and analytics teams to automate data collection.
  • Support internal events and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in media relations, public policy, or stakeholder management.
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required.
  • University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Political Science.
  • Experience with media coverage and familiarity with data and measurement tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
