What you will do

• Lead investigations into fraud tips and reported misconduct using analytical techniques to uncover misconduct.
• Plan and execute fraud risk audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary controls.
• Analyze large datasets using tools like SQL and ACL to detect patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams, as well as external regulators and law enforcement.
• Write professional reports summarizing audit and investigation results for stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging fraud risks and integrate AI and data analytics into investigative processes.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial investigations.
• Must be based in Canada (NB, NL, PE, NS, or ON provinces).
• English proficiency required for daily collaboration with teams outside Québec.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally within Canada.
• Proven experience conducting investigations is essential.

Nice to have

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation.
• Experience in the insurance or healthcare sectors.
• Knowledge of audit software such as AuditBoard or ACL.
• French communication skills.
