Internal Auditor II (Finance)

TL;DR

Internal Auditor II (IT Audit): Assist with controls testing and client assistance testing in financial services technology with an accent on SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk-based audits. Location: Remote, but candidates must live within approximately 70-mile radius of offices in Allen TX, Birmingham AL, Cedar Falls IA, Charlotte NC, Lenexa KS, Louisville KY, Springfield/Monett MO. Up to 10% travel for meetings, events, training; onsite requirements at manager discretion. Ineligible for immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $48,000 - $83,000

What you will do

• Cooperate within project teams on complex, risk-based internal audit engagements.
• Interact with personnel to understand processes, gather information, and test controls.
• Perform root cause analysis, provide recommendations, and monitor management action plans.
• Research and recommend enhancements in processes, security, operations, or compliance.
• Coordinate with internal/external assurance providers and consult on strategic projects.
• Prepare reports communicating observations, risks, recommendations, and action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 18 months professional experience in IT auditing or general controls testing.
• Experience with COBIT or NIST frameworks.
• Experience with SOX testing.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Must live within 70-mile radius of specified US office locations.

Nice to have

• Relevant certification (CISA, CISSP, CFE, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CIA, PMP, CITP, CPA).
• Experience managing multiple projects.
• Experience with cloud architecture, cybersecurity, audit report writing, logical access, disaster recovery, change management, IIA standards.
• Interest in AI.
