Senior Commercial Counsel (SaaS): Negotiating and structuring complex technology, SaaS, and strategic partnership agreements with an accent on cloud technology, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Location: Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days remote). Must be based in Atlanta, GA; Hoboken, NJ; Richardson, TX; or Sandy, UT

What you will do
- Lead complex enterprise cloud and SaaS transactions across sales, product, and procurement.
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance on data protection, cybersecurity, and commercial contracting.
- Develop and maintain legal playbooks and templates to scale contracting processes.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategies with business priorities.
- Monitor and assess evolving laws, including AI regulations, to proactively mitigate risk.
- Educate internal teams on legal and compliance best practices.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 8-10 years of legal experience, with substantial focus on SaaS and cloud computing on the vendor side.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements and Data Processing Agreements.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. and international data privacy and cybersecurity law.
- Prior in-house legal experience supporting a technology-driven business.
