Senior Commercial Counsel (AI): Owning the legal side of hirify.global’s revenue engine, structuring and negotiating enterprise SaaS deals with an accent on complex deal terms, pricing, SLAs, data usage, security, and risk allocation. Focus on using AI tools and automation to draft, review, and negotiate contracts more efficiently, reducing cycle time and eliminating repetitive work.

Location: San Francisco, CA. We are not able to support visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Salary: $200K – $235K

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end negotiation of SaaS and subscription agreements with enterprise customers.
• Act as the central driver of deal execution, coordinating across Sales, Finance, Product, Security, and Legal.
• Build and refine contracting playbooks, templates, and fallback positions.
• Use AI tools and automation to draft, review, and negotiate contracts more efficiently.
• Make real-time decisions that balance commercial opportunity and risk aligned with hirify.global’s business goals.
• Translate legal constraints into commercially workable solutions.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience with significant exposure to technology transactions and SaaS contracting.
• Proven experience negotiating enterprise agreements in a fast-paced environment (law firm and/or in-house).
• Commercially wired: you understand revenue, margins, and deal mechanics—not just legal risk.
• Operator mindset: you like owning processes, driving alignment, and getting deals across the finish line.
• AI-forward mindset: you actively look for ways to use AI and automation to improve how legal work gets done.
• JD (or equivalent) and active bar membership.
