Zone 1: $192,100 — $264,100 USD; Zone 2: $172,900 — $237,700 USD; Zone 3: $163,300 — $224,500 USD (location-dependent).

What you will do
- Negotiate enterprise-level cloud service agreements for Canadian customers, balancing risk and business objectives.
- Provide strategic counsel to sales team for closing complex transactions.
- Maintain and update legal templates for compliance with Canadian laws while ensuring global consistency.
- Advise on technology, product, security, and compliance issues related to local standards.
- Collaborate with Finance, Information Security, and Product teams on contracting processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of technology transactions experience at top-tier law firm or in-house at high-growth SaaS company.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud software sell-side transactions in Canada, including PIPEDA, public sector, and data residency.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS models, consumption/commit pricing, and quarterly sales cadence.
- Skills in negotiating information security, AI, IP, and open-source issues.
- LL.B. or J.D. from recognized law school; licensed to practice law, ideally qualified member of a Canadian Provincial Bar.
- Outstanding communication skills; bilingual English/French a significant asset.
