Account Executive (Government): Managing and growing a portfolio of State and Local Government (SLED) accounts by aligning software and SaaS solutions to agency needs with an accent on consultative sales and public sector procurement. Location: Remote (Sacramento, CA) - requires local travel to customer accounts

Compensation: $70,000 base salary, Estimated OTE $130,000

What you will do

• Manage and expand a portfolio of State and Local Government (SLED) accounts.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build trusted relationships with government agencies, departments, and municipalities.
• Conduct discovery conversations to align solutions with agency goals and budgets.
• Navigate public sector procurement processes, including RFPs and contracts.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools like Salesforce.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in B2B, technology, or solutions-based sales.
• Must be based in the Sacramento, CA area for local travel to customer accounts.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience or interest in working with SLED entities.
