What you will do

• Lead on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Manage field resources, including employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Mentor junior team members on complex technical issues and manage work order schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance via lock out tag out procedures and adherence to OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Generate technical reports and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel 50-80% within the assigned region to oversee project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience in the power or energy sectors.
• Valid driver's license with a good DMV record and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and reading schematic drawings.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, and CPR certifications.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform strenuous field work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong professional communication skills.
