Policy Review Specialist - Personal Lines

Location: Remote in the United States, with a New York Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license required

Pay: $21.63 per hour, plus eligibility for a monthly commission plan

What you will do

• Place outbound calls to customers before policy renewals to prepare re-quotes.
• Manage renewal and targeted book roll activities while meeting retention and quality targets.
• Review customer coverage and recommend policy changes, upgrades, and additional products.
• Calculate and present quotes accurately and complete insurance applications.
• Apply carrier underwriting guidelines and present risks outside those guidelines for consideration.
• Track quote activity, prepare reports, and maintain positive relationships with carrier contacts.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least two years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, phone communication, listening, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs through question-based selling and retention techniques.
• Proficient PC skills; experience with insurance administration software is preferred.
• Current New York State Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
