What you will do

• Lead the planning and delivery of an annual AV capital refresh portfolio of approximately $3M.
• Determine technical requirements for 250+ videoconferencing-enabled rooms and distributed learning spaces across the province.
• Manage vendor activities, technical specifications, and large-volume procurement of AV equipment.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day management for the AV Projects team.
• Ensure seamless transition of completed projects to AV Operations through documentation, training, and readiness reviews.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risks while providing regular progress reporting to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in AV/IT project delivery.
• Must be based in or able to work at distributed sites across British Columbia, Canada.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• University degree in Computer Science.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco or Crestron.
• Formal training in Project Management and Business Analysis.
• Previous managerial experience.
