TL;DR

Junior Project Manager (Telecommunications): Coordinating customer-focused projects and ensuring accurate financial tracking with an accent on budget management and resource coordination. Focus on maintaining organized project execution, validating costs, and supporting commercial processes.

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa (3 days per week in office)

Salary: $20.50 – $27.50 per hour

What you will do

  • Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and purchase orders.
  • Validate costs and review time and expense entries against approved plans.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, and organized project records.
  • Coordinate resources, tasks, and deliverables across internal teams.
  • Prepare quotes and order documentation for project initiation and approvals.
  • Update project dashboards and contribute to status reports and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for financial data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and standard business productivity tools.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Internship or academic coursework in project management, operations, or finance.
  • Exposure to project management or CRM tools.
  • Background supporting cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams.
