Training Solutions Execution Lead (Defense): Oversee end-to-end execution of training strategies and development of learning solutions for the Canadian Future Fighter Lead-In Training program with an accent on ADDIE lifecycle, stakeholder collaboration, and risk management. Focus on conducting cognitive task analysis, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring compliant delivery under tight deadlines.

Location: Ottawa, Halifax, Montreal (St. Laurent). Hybrid work model (approximately 2 days per week onsite). Must have, or be eligible to obtain, EHC/Secret Security Clearance, ITAR, and CG clearance.

Salary: $107,500 - $157,500

What you will do

• Execute training strategy across ADDIE lifecycle, assigning tasks and tracking resources.
• Collaborate with SMEs for data analysis, cognitive task analysis, and competency definition.
• Lead training development teams, coordinate workloads, and monitor delivery schedules.
• Identify, escalate, and manage scope, schedule, and other project risks.
• Report metrics and status to project and training managers as primary liaison.
• Develop and maintain standards for design, writing, and media in training solutions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in education-related field + 10+ years instructional design experience.
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE and training development methodologies.
• Experience executing training strategies and managing complex solutions.
• Proven leadership, team coordination, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
• EHC/Secret Security Clearance, ITAR, and CG clearance eligibility.

Nice to have

• Master’s or certification in Educational Technology or Instructional Design.
• Senior Instructional Designer experience in Defense & Security.
• Knowledge of CFITES, competency-based training, and RCAF programs.
• Project management, cognitive task analysis, and business acumen.
• Bilingualism (English/French).
