What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise application development, delivery, and support.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Oversee end-to-end software engineering processes, including architecture design, sprint planning, QA automation, and deployment.
• Drive the Enterprise API platform and customer Identity and access management (CIAM) platform.
• Collaborate with product management and business leads to align technical efforts with product vision and goals.
• Lead the adoption of AI, analytics, and automation into core enterprise systems.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership/director-level role.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise systems in a regulated industry, preferably insurance or financial services.
• Deep understanding of Java, Node.js, React, Angular, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong experience in RESTful APIs, microservices, message-driven/event-based architectures, and API gateways.
• Experience managing distributed teams, including offshore development centers.
