What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable functional and test frameworks for integration and subsystem testing.
• Collaborate with QA and software engineers on cross-team initiatives to improve end-to-end validation workflows.
• Lead feature-level testing by defining strategies and driving the transition to robust automation.
• Support framework users to continuously refine tools for better reliability and engineering efficiency.
• Implement AI tools to make the testing process faster and more efficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an SDET with proven skills in building cloud automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Typescript, Git, and Buildkite.
• Experience building functional and performance automated tests for backend cloud applications.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI tools in the testing domain (e.g., Claude).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
