Global Benefits Director (HR Operations): Leading the design and administration of global benefits and retirement programs with an accent on US compliance, vendor management, and regional governance. Focus on optimizing Total Rewards strategies, managing complex regulatory requirements, and ensuring competitive benefit offerings across US, Europe, and AMPEA.

Location: Hybrid (North Andover, MA) - Must be based in or be able to work onsite three days per week

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Design and administer global benefits and retirement programs aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Directly manage U.S. benefits operations, including plan administration, vendor management, and issue resolution.
  • Provide governance and oversight for benefit programs across Europe and AMPEA regions.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure programs remain competitive, compliant, and cost-effective.
  • Lead annual open enrollment planning, execution, and communications.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of benefits professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive benefits experience, with 5+ years managing a global benefits team.
  • 5+ years of experience in total rewards, covering compensation and HR operations.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. regulations including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
  • Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience operating within a complex, matrixed organization and union environments.
