Salary: $122,000–$253,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and expertise.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end mapping of technology identification, requirements development, and workflows across CISA threat-hunt operations.
  • Identify and document inputs, outputs, key activities, and dependencies for each phase of technology insertion.
  • Develop workflow, process-flow, swimlane, and dependency diagrams showing roles, handoffs, and cross-functional impacts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate workflows and uncover impacts across subdivisions and branches.
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows and processes, identify gaps, and recommend process or system changes.
  • Deliver actionable visuals and documentation to leadership in support of strategic planning, compliance, and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
  • Ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty suitability is required.
  • 10+ years of directly relevant systems engineering and architecture development experience.
  • Knowledge of systems and network engineering, technical analytics, threat-hunt and incident-response tools, cloud technologies, and databases.
  • Experience with cybersecurity attack-mitigation techniques, cybersecurity architectures, SELC, change management, requirements management, and traceability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAFe or another lean Agile framework, Agile systems engineering or development, and DevSecOps or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with architectural views and standards such as DoDAF and FEAF.
  • Experience with requirements management tools, preferably DOORS.
  • Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, DHS, and software or systems lifecycle methodologies.
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II, CSEP, or SAFe certification.
