Workday Solution Architect (HCM)

Location: Client site in Reston, Virginia; must be local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area or willing to relocate, with onsite work in customer SCIF environments 3–4 days per week. Approximately 5% travel is required within the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Salary: $113,230–$200,508 per year.

What you will do

• Design Workday and enterprise HCM solution architectures for large and complex programs.
• Translate customer requirements and business objectives into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams of Workday consultants, business analysts, developers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Guide architecture, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of customer applications.
• Support architecture and solution discussions, technical scoping, effort estimation, demonstrations, training, and documentation.
• Identify risks and gaps, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee infrastructure and application design through project completion.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI favorability and CI polygraph; active TS/SCI with CI polygraph is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Workday HCM certification required.
• 10+ years of experience implementing Workday or equivalent HCM and ERP applications.
• Experience leading at least three Workday deployments from planning through go-live, delivery teams, and secure enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Additional Workday certifications.
