What you will do

• Lead end-to-end mapping of new technology identification and requirements development for CISA Threat Hunt.
• Develop visual diagrams, including process flows, swimlanes, and dependency maps, to illustrate architectural impacts.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate workflows and identify cross-functional dependencies.
• Document current and future-state workflows and identify system gaps to recommend process or system changes.
• Deliver actionable documentation and visuals to leadership for strategic planning, compliance, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are mandatory.
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability.
• 12+ years of direct relevant experience in systems engineering and architecture development.
• Knowledge of networking engineering, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity attack-mitigation techniques.
• Experience with Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) and requirements management practices.
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevSecOps practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DODAF, FEAF, and various architectural views (operational, technical, system/services).
• Experience with RMF and security/privacy controls (NIST 800-37 and NIST 800-53).
• Proficiency with requirements management tools, specifically DOORS.
• Prior experience working with the DHS.
• Certifications: DoD 8140 IAT Level II, CSEP, or SAFe certifications.
