TL;DR

Salary: $99,000–$225,000 (annualized USD).

What you will do

  • Translate customer IT needs and future goals into comprehensive communications architectures and design specifications.
  • Lead modernization efforts for legacy systems, including cloud migration and advanced technology integration.
  • Conduct capability assessments, operational planning, and risk management for mission-critical systems.
  • Perform requirements analysis and development specifically for Department of the Navy systems.
  • Brief senior military and government leadership on technical strategies and project status.
  • Mentor junior developers and engineers to foster growth into future solutions architects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with Navy communications architectures, RF spectrum operations, or waveform modernization.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Knowledge of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).

Nice to have

  • Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Master's degree in CS or Engineering.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or IAT Level II.
