What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Apply wind and seismic lateral analysis principles in compliance with building codes.
• Integrate structural requirements into BIM models and construction documents with designers and drafting teams.
• Own assigned structural scopes, manage technical effort, and meet project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Check calculations, provide technical mentorship, and improve structural engineering workflows and tools.
• Conduct field walks and technical evaluations in active construction and industrial environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least four years of professional structural engineering and design experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, plus familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience with steel and concrete design, structural calculations, and applicable IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC standards.
• High-speed home internet required to support hybrid/remote performance tracking.

Nice to have

• Experience leading small technical teams or task assignments.
• Exposure to heavy industrial, general industrial, or advanced technology facilities.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
