What you will do

• Provide practical, risk-based compliance advice on alternatives investing, portfolio management, marketing, distribution, and sales activities.
• Advise on new asset management fund launches, instruments, and investment vehicles, identifying compliance issues and surveillance needs.
• Lead strategic compliance projects, including control enhancements, business initiatives, and regulatory reform implementation.
• Develop compliance policies and procedures reflecting firm policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct compliance monitoring and forensic reviews, and prepare and deliver compliance training.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Legal, Compliance colleagues, working groups, and senior committees.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compliance experience; asset management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of asset management compliance and the ability to apply regulatory requirements to practical business scenarios.
• Familiarity with FCA regulations, MiFID, and AIFM requirements.
• Knowledge of investment instruments, including alternative investment funds, and related governance requirements.
• Experience designing, enhancing, and implementing compliance controls and governance frameworks.
• Excellent judgment, analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
