TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Driving net-new and existing dispensary growth in Southern California by managing the full sales cycle for an all-in-one retail platform with an accent on pipeline generation and deal execution. Focus on conducting ROI-focused demonstrations, structuring bundled POS and payment contracts, and scaling revenue in the cannabis sector.

Location: Remote-first, but must be based in or able to travel 75%+ within Southern California to visit dispensary sites and events.

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle for net-new and existing dispensary locations within the Southern California region.
  • Prospect and qualify 12+ new accounts weekly through targeted outbound efforts, regional events, and partner referrals.
  • Lead discovery calls and ROI-focused demos for SMB opportunities, tailoring value propositions to stakeholders.
  • Structure and close bundled contracts for POS, payments, and text-messaging to maximize ACV.
  • Maintain strict CRM hygiene in HubSpot and deliver accurate 30-60-90 day commit forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Success teams to share competitive intelligence and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS or retail-tech sales experience with a history of ≥100% attainment.
  • Working knowledge of cannabis retail operations and state compliance rules.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and BANT or similar sales methodology.
  • Ability to travel 75%+ to dispensary sites, trade shows, and regional events.
  • Excellent consultative presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling POS, payments, or fintech solutions to regulated industries.
  • Prior success in high-growth startup environments (0 to $50M ARR).
  • Existing network of decision-makers in cannabis markets.
  • Familiarity with integrations and retail data analytics tools.
