TL;DR

Digital Adoption & Experience Strategist (SaaS): Designing and owning the behavior-triggered layer of the post-purchase customer experience with an accent on in-app learning, onboarding journeys, and segmentation logic. Focus on optimizing activation rates, accelerating feature adoption, and reducing churn through data-driven UX and instructional design.

Location: Must be based in the US

Salary: $108,900 - $136,000 + annual bonus

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end in-app learning strategy, including guide design and activation triggers delivered through Pendo.
  • Architect and optimize the customer onboarding digital experience, defining journey frameworks and learning objectives.
  • Design and maintain a customer segmentation framework to personalize digital adoption touchpoints based on behavioral data.
  • Serve as the strategic content lead for onboarding communications and behavior-triggered messaging.
  • Define and own the performance metrics framework for digital adoption, including engagement and activation rates.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing to co-define shared KPIs.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 5+ years of experience in learning experience design with a strong UX focus.
  • 3+ years of strategic experience with in-app guidance platforms (Pendo strongly preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience owning customer-facing communications programs (onboarding emails, lifecycle messaging).
  • Proficiency with Figma, behavioral analytics, and funnel analysis.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design or UX Design.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS post-purchase customer experience or customer enablement.
  • Professional certification in UX (e.g., Nielsen Norman).
  • Experience designing for global audiences with cultural considerations.
  • Pendo certification or equivalent DAP certification.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted enablement platforms and conversational learning design.
