What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end experiences for organizing and managing content as part of the CMS team.
• Partner with engineering to shape platform capabilities and technical infrastructure for CMS and open-source initiatives.
• Translate technically complex systems into intuitive and elegant user experiences.
• Prototype frequently to explore ideas, validate concepts, and communicate technical decisions.
• Contribute to product strategy and long-term vision using customer insights and technical understanding.
• Mentor other designers and provide thoughtful feedback to raise the quality bar across the organization.

Requirements

• Exceptional product design craft with strong visual and interaction skills and a systems-thinking approach.
• Proven ability to simplify complex technical systems into intuitive user experiences.
• Ability to use code and working prototypes to explore interaction ideas and technical possibilities.
• Ability to define clear design visions in ambiguous spaces using data and qualitative research.
• Track record of independently driving design from discovery through launch.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping software via coding or AI-assisted development.
• Background designing content management systems, asset management platforms, or foundational products.
• Experience designing developer tools, APIs, or SDKs.
