What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of large state and federal agency accounts to drive deep product adoption and long-term retention.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior government IT leaders (CIOs, CISOs) to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell) by aligning solutions to enterprise-scale IT modernization.
- Lead structured Executive Business Reviews focusing on risk reduction, cost avoidance, and public accountability metrics.
- Navigate complex government procurement processes, including RFPs, cooperative purchasing agreements, and grant funding (ARPA, E-Rate).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support to advocate for SLED-specific compliance and feature requirements.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing and growing large, complex state or federal government accounts.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise procurement, multi-year budget cycles, and government grant funding mechanisms.
- Experience engaging and consulting with executive-level stakeholders (CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors).
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity mandates such as NIST, CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and enterprise CRM best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
